Warranty Coverage
7 Year Warranty (5 Years Full Replacement and 2 Years Extended Service)

Our Wood Warranties offer full replacement for liquid marks or rings caused by foods and beverages, accidental burns or heat marks, scratches and cracking of finish from normal household use, glass/mirror chipping, scratching or breakage on wood tables or cabinets, silvering loss on mirrors, warping of wood, lifting of veneer, and broken wood legs. Free refills of wood care products for the life of your warranty.

Wood Protection Kit (Kit supplied with warranty purchase)
Blended creams and rich polishes add a tough, protective coating to the surface of wood. These special formulas are designed to protect, clean, enhance and maintain the natural beauty of all types of clear-coated wood or lacquer-finished furniture.

Warranty Support
Toll-Free Customer Service Support (English and Spanish speaking) includes cleaning instructions for stain removal, appropriate stain removal products and/or assistance from professional cleaning or repair technicians.

Consumer and Applicator Safe
Our products are non-toxic, non-allergenic, and safe for children and pets. All products are tested for effectiveness against water-based and solvent-based stains.

Wood Protection Kit includes:

• Cream Polish cleans, polishes, and protects all enameled, varnished, and lacquered wood surfaces in one easy operation. Polish is fast drying, non-greasy, and dries to a high lustre.
• Scratch Guard leaves an invisible barrier on furniture that guards against light scratches. Dust and household cloths can cause fine scratches to appear on furniture. Regular use of Scratch Guard will help reduce scratches and keep furniture looking new.
• Scratch Remover hides scratches on all mahogany, pine, oak, walnut, and similar colored woods. Scratches seem to disappear right before your eyes. Dries in seconds.

Coverage for wood and other hard surface furniture
5 Year Full Replacement & 2 Year Repair/Service Agreement from date of delivery. This service agreement applies only to new residential-use furniture purchased from Decorators Model Homes, Inc. Replacement furniture must be purchased from the same store in which original purchase was made. If staining or damage from normal household use occurs within the warranty period and a technician cannot remove stain or repair affected area, Wood Shield™ will replace the affected item or refund the purchase price of the service agreement.

THE COVERAGE LISTED IS THE COVERAGE PROVIDED BY THIS SERVICE AGREEMENT

1. Water rings caused by normal household foods or
   beverages.

2. Burns or heat marks resulting from cigarettes, hot
   dinner plates, and hot coffee cups.

3. Warping of wood, lifting of veneer, and broken wood
   legs.

4. Breakage and cracking of the finish occurring during
   normal household use.

5. Breakage, chips and scratching of glass or mirrors on
   wood tables, wall units, and cabinets occurring
   during normal household use.

6. Silvering loss on mirrors.

7. Electrical shorts and switch failure (limited to
   wall units and cabinets)

All stains or damage must be reported to Customer Service within five (5) days of occurrence. The Wood Shield™ Service Agreement coverage applies after any applicable manufacturer warranties have expired.

What's not covered
This warranty does not apply to normal soiling from everyday use, commercial use, neglect, abuse or misuse, tobacco product stains, stains caused by dyes, felt tip markers, ink or ink transfer, nail polish, paint, prolonged exposure to fire or heat, smoke, bleach, corrosives, substances which destroy or change color in wood, adhesives, gum, wax, animal stains or damage other than pet urine, odors, stains caused by incontinence, accumulated stains or damage, multiple stains or damage, unknown stains or damage, floor samples or as-is furniture, photo finish, improper maintenance, seasoning cracking, defects causing discoloration from flaws in manufacturing, manufacture markings, fading, furniture in storage, furniture in transit, furniture stained or damaged in home movement, failure to follow Ultra Shield's care instructions, excessive water stains or damage, personnel injury stains or damage, and improper protection application. Note: Cleaning prior to calling Customer Service, falsified information, and missing a scheduled technician appointment will void the warranty without a refund and the customer will be held responsible for the technician's work bill.
